1. Garden behind former student dormitory Ivan Meštrović (Moša) at Trg žrtava fašizma

The entire south side of the square Trg žrtava fašizma is large pentagonal block build in 1933. as residential building of the Academy of Sciences and Arts, former student dormitory Ivan Meštrović (Moša). Behind the building there is a beatifull small garden with fishpound, litlle path, benches, some garden plants/flowers and children playground of nearby kindergarten. You can enter the garden on every working day throughout day and on Saturdays in afternoon through small gateway on the south side of the square.

2. Large secret garden in Črnomerec neighborhood

One of the biggest garden of all secret gardens in Zagreb is located in the west side of town in Črnomerec neighborhood, between Prešernova, Cankarova and Prilaz baruna Filipovića streets. Easiest way to get there is through a small passage at Prešernova street 3 and in a moment you are in unreal, large-scale garden with lawn, trees, tables and benches surrounded with buildings. 3. Garden behind the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Just round the corner from Zagreb main square, there is Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - second biggest church in Zagreb after the Zagreb Cathedral. Fabulous garden is hidden in the abbey courtyard behind the church but you can't enter the lawn with trees, summer house in the middle and religious statues (there is a little fence around). You can walk around, take a rest on the bench and enyoy in silence and special holiness of the place.
