From wednesday(03.12.) to Saturday(05.12.) you have a great opportunity to see live in Zagreb current Olympic champion in figure skating Adelina Sotnikova and European/ world champion Elizaveta Tuktamiševa. Golden spin of Zagreb is the oldest skating competition in the world and one of the most famous sport event in Zagreb. In the past 48 years Zagreb hosted the world's largest skating names who print the rich history of figure skating. Around 100 ice skaters from 29 countries in 5 continents will compete in man, ladies and pairs competition.
In the women's tournament never has been stronger competition, it will be very interesting to the end. Event is taking place in legendary Zagreb hall Dom sportova (build 1972.), where lots of major sport events ( European Championship in basketball 1989., nowdays ice hokey KHL league ) and great music concerts (The Rolling Stones, Queen, Elton John...) where held in history. If you are in Zagreb on saturday 05.12., the last day of Golden spin of Zagreb, we recommend you to go to Gala winner show(20:00h) where ice skaters in freestyle entertain the audience. Jumps, spins, lifts and great footwork accompained with good music will make you applause all the way. Traditionally, at the end of the show, all participants will salute the audience with joint pirouette. Golden spin of Zagreb is type of event where you can feel the spirit of old times.
