Croatia Winter Music Festival, the largest regional music event, will take place in Arena Zagreb from 31st December 2016 till 6th January 2017. Music program throughout the week brings some of the worlds’ best EDM DJs, while daily program in Arena hall includes international gaming tournament Zagreb Gaming Championship, Marmalade – Street food & Craft Beer festival and Art & Design Fair.
Week kicks off with spectacular Zagreb 360° New Year’s Eve party in Arena Zagreb on Saturday, 31st December. Croatians and their guests from all over the world will celebrate the arrival of 2017 dancing to the beat of the best electronic dance music followed by impressive video, sound and light. Fantastic stage will be the New Year’s home for some of the world’s greatest DJs. The NYE DJ crew is led by Armin Van Buuren, one of the world’s greatest DJs and winner of numerous awards. Van Buuren is the only DJ who was ranked as No1 at DJ Mag list four years in a row. He hosts a radio show that is broadcasted to more than 37 million listeners in 84 countries. After four appearances on ULTRA Europe festival in Split, this will be his first time playing in Zagreb to give visitors of the New Year’s Eve 360° an unforgettable kick off into 2017! Party people will also greet Sander van Doorn, Dutch electronic dance producer and DJ, who gained recognition as popular remixer. His collaborations include Sia, The Killers, Swedish House Mafia and Robbie Williams. They’ll be joined by MOTi, Dutch producer and electro house DJ best known for his collaboration with Tiësto, Major Lazer and Martin Garrix. Girl power will be presented by Juicy M, young Ukrainian electro and progressive house DJ and producer best known for her YouTube video mixes. Dutch reign will be powered by Julian Jordan, Martin Garrix’s schoolmate and music collaborator, also well known for his cooperation with fellow Dutchmen, Firebeatz and Sander van Doorn. David Gravell, Dutch DJ trance DJ and producer will share the stage with Armin and the crew to make the party in Zagreb the best NYE in Europe!
Sunday, 1st January 2017, brings REPLAY 360° NYE. The largest regional replay of the New Year’s Eve is expected to gather thousands of party people from Croatia, region and Europe. Replay brings well known Flower Power programme introduced by Pacha at Ibiza.
Monday, 2nd January is reserved for HEART with Julian Jordan and David Gravell. Tuesday, 3rd January brings LAUNDRY - the only laundry day everybody loves with Sick Individuals, Kura and Thomas Newson. Sick Individuals build their career with their own hits and remixes for the stars like Rihanna, Avicii, David Guetta and Madonna. Kura is 29 years old Portuguese electro house DJ and producer. He started his path as teenager in Lisbon clubs and today he travels the world and performs on festivals and in clubs all over the globe. He constantly climbs the Top 100 DJs list and currently holds no. 51. Thomas Newson is DJ from Netherlands who was only 19 when he produced his first hit – his single Flute has more than 50 million views on YouTube! His success shouldn't be a surprise as he has music in his genes as his father is Marco V, well known DJ and producer and one of the pioneers of the EDM in Netherlands.
Wednesday, 4th January hosts WRONG CROWD with R3hab i Felix Jaehn. R3hab is 30 years old DJ of Morroccan origin. Together with Afrojack and Chuckie he's one of the representatives of the Dutch modern house subgenre. 2016. is the most successful year in his career and he finishes it being 21 at the DJ Mag's TOP 100 DJs list. Felix Jaehn is German tropical house DJ and producer who started his career aged 16. His first success happened in 2015, when his remix Cheerleader (OMI) appeared on charts in Germany, France, USA and Great Britain. That kicked off his career and brought many gigs arround the world.
On Thursday, 5th January, festival is getting close to its end so TYLT brings everyone a bit closer to the reality. Programme brings performances of Armada label DJs. Armada was founded in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis and today it gathers some of the most successful DJs like Dash Berlin, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W&W and Lost Frequencies. Friday, 6th January, the last day of the Croatian Winter Music Festival, introduces GIRAFFE WAREHOUSE PROJECT with Florian Picasso (30th on Top 100 DJ Mag) and some other tech-house and techno scene DJs that will create excellent party atmosphere for the end of the first Croatia Winter Music Festival!
