Aquarius club in Zagreb

The Aquarius club in Zagreb is a synonym for great entertainment since 1992. Since its beginnings, Aquarius club has offered its guests only the best kind of musical entertainment – from huge world-renowned names to musicians and DJ´s that have narrowly defined their respective genres. And this tradition of making party is still kept. Located on Jarun lake in Zagreb, the club hosts famous world DJ's and Grammy awarded musicians. Let us mention some of them: Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Nicky Romero, Avicii etc.

In more than 20 years of its activity, the Aquarius club in Zagreb followed music trends in urban club music genre but also sets up new music standards in Croatia. From its beginnings, Aquarius club played electronic music, which was pretty young in early 90's. Techno and house was always welcomed there. Nowadays the club remained faithful to alternative dance music, but other genres such as jazz, world music, hip-hop and other can also be heard in Aquarius. As a matter a fact, the Aquarius club started a jazz festival named "Kontrapunkt", so jazz musicians are also to be expected at the Jarun lake. The club became so strong and famous that it started a new club in Zrce – at the island of Pag, which is often described as Croatian Ibiza.
