Can you climb to 25th floor of the building for less then two minutes and thirty-eight seconds? 
You can break the record of unique Croatian towerrunning race Zagrepčanka 512 this saturday (12.12.), at bussines tower Zagrepčanka (100m high with antenna.)The oldest bussines tower in Zagreb, for the fourth time will be the stage for around 400 runners who will race up to 25th floor of building. There is exactly 490 stairs to the end ( tower has 26 floors and 512 stairs, but because of some organizational and safety reasons lenght of race is shorten.) 
The Zagreb tower running race is inspired by famous Empire State Building run-up (86th floor,1576 stairs,320m,record 09:33), Sydney Tower run-up and race to the top of Tour Eiffel. Race has chronometric start, so each competitor starts every 15 seconds and the winner is not known until the last runner finishes the race. Runners go back to the ground floor by elevator. Since 2013. Zagrepčanka 512 is part of Towerrunning World Cup, beside runners from Croatia there are racers from Slovenia, Austria, BIH, Hungary, U.S.A. and other countries. After the official race there is a charity firefighters race (14:00h). Croatian „Rescue me“ boys and girls will run with full equipment (safety boots,helmets and gloves.) So come to the Zagrepčanka 512 this saturday morning and if you do not have shape to compite you can be a part of this unique race as supporter. And who knows, maybe you will see some of the Rescued boys?
