Only 7 tram stations(Public transport in Zagreb) west from Trg bana Josipa Jelačića (tram no. 6 or 11, direction Črnomerec, exit last station Črnomerec) and then a little bit of 200m adventure walk through overgrown brush with no clear path (direction northwest from supermarket Konzum), there is one of the largest remaining German WW2bunkers in Croatia.

This big above-ground bunker is part of WW2 German bunker complex of 5 bunkers close to former headquarters of 7th SS Division Prinz Eugen, destroyed in 1945. and since then fallen into oblivion. Remaining bunker is anti-aircraft Regelbau B bunker with dimensions approximately 32x12x14m. Although generations and generations of local kids often played behind the former brick factory (Ciglane Zagreb) and around the two little lakes where bunker is located, only adventurers, geocaching buffs, local children and few fishermen know the exact location. Few years ago a big construction project of new elite neighborhood was planned in that area, so future of bunker is uncertain. If you are in super explorer mode and a history (WW2) nerd, you can try to find it. While it's still there. It is not far from urban area, but be careful, there is no clear path, place is overgrown and generally not safe.
