Castle Gjalski was home of Ksaver Sandor Gjalski, very famous Croatian writer who lived there at the end of 19^th century. The building has been renovated and transformed into tourist attraction – now it’s a hotel with a restaurant where you can see how Croatian aristocracy lived there more than a 100 years ago. The castle is located on the northwest of Croatia, very close to Slovenian border and only few miles away from Zagreb. The building is surrounded by cultivated parks and is great for organizing weddings, parties, romantic evenings or some social gatherings.
