The place was supposed to be a pharmacy, but it happened that the owner opened a pub instead. And the locals liked the idea! The Tolkien's House offers about 90 beer brands: Scottish, Belgian, American... and Croatian too. Also, you will find domestic craft beer as well.

Drinks are not expensive and beside beer, you may order other types of beverages but the beer has a central place. The friendly staff has a mission to teach guests how to enjoy in beer. This beer institution has provided a pleasant atmosphere for such „culture events“ – the interior is decorated with swords, armors and rare beer bottles. The tradition is what pops out in every corner of the Tolkien's House. And, as the name says, it is inspired by the fairy world of the Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien's masterpieces, so if you're a fan, you will not be disappointed. Especially because the music will complete the whole experience. The pub organizes parties and, of course, St Patrick's day celebrations.
