Why is it special?

La Bodega  in Spanish means wine cellar and by it’s definition, La Bodega Zadar  is combination of a fine wine cellar, antique tavern and modern brunch & caffe bar. This definition already makes this place interesting and special! La Bodega has really unique industrial interior design mixed with Spanish influences which you can see in decorations, antiques and details. They also used prosciutto and onions in decorating this place, and prosciutto hanging above bar is one thing that always attracts attention of people who are strolling in Kalelarga Street. Other thing that attracts people’s attention is blackboard in front of the bar with funny signs. Except inside, you can enjoy La Bodega’s terrace in the busiest street in Zadar. You will know that this is La Bodega’s terrace when you see really fast and professional waiters in their well known and recognizable plaid shirts.

Offer and prices

La Bodega has one of the best offers of drinks in the city. Except over 250 different wine labels, they have many whiskeys, shots, non-alcoholic beverages and coffee drinks so everyone can find something for yourself.  They are also changing and renewing wine list all the time and every month they have new offer of wines that you can buy in glasses. During the summer they have hostesses, wine promotions on Wednesday and Thursday and Philip Morris parties. When it comes to food, they are serving breakfast (toasts and croissants) and platters with prosciutto, Slavonian kulen, sausage made of Istrian cattle (boškarin), (truffle) cheese, olives and olive oil. Prosciutto and cheese are coming from different regions of Croatia. When you know all that, it is not surprising that they are proudly saying that in La Bodega you can have an all-around vision of Croatia. Music also makes them special and different from other places in Zadar. During the workweek they usually play jazz music, music of 60’s and 70′, Frank Sinatra… On weekends they have DJ who plays house music or live sessions.
