The tradition

This place grew on the foundations laid by the likeable and well-known old Mr. Jakus in Opatija. As a result, in the 60s, he offered his widely known and delicious sandwiches with homemade bacon and garlic, fine homemade garlic-flavored sausages on the site of today’s location. Even one dish is named after him. Don’t miss this house specialty.

Gostionica Kaneta has a very long tradition. In other words, you can taste a different time, and take a bite of the history itself.

What to try?

For instance, you can try delicious dishes from the bread oven, homemade bread, lamb, veal, and (or) Adriatic squid. They also have a rich selection of homemade ravioli with prosciutto, cheese and spinach pancakes.
