Poklisar Restaurant

This family restaurant brings only local flavors to the table. At the Poklisar Restaurant, they only use ingredients cultivated in the traditional manner in the surroundings of Dubrovnik: in Konavle, Primorje and the valley of river Neretva.

The Mission

Originally, in the Dubrovnik dialect, the name Poklisar means ‘’an ambassador’’ and that’s what they are. An ambassador of good taste and remarkable moments.

The same team has been running Restaurant Poklisar over a decade.

Their mission is not only to serve the best dishes but also to pass the spark of the Mediterranean to you. You will love their hospitality and home atmosphere, as well as their friendly and helpful staff.

The Food

For many, their favorite rice dish is the aromatic and creamy risotto which with the seasonal and local ingredients simply shimmers on the plate.

An especially attractive variant of this dish is the black risotto of cuttlefish, which apart from the excellent taste attracts attention with its unusual color obtained from the addition of cuttlefish ink.

Vegan

If you are in Dubrovnik and want to avoid animal-based food due to environmental reasons, the use of chemicals or because of health advantages, they are here for you with their vegan offer.
