Beertija – is a perfect meeting spot for groups of friends, or even couples because it has many secluded corners for a healthy dose of intimacy. While the terrace sits behind trees and shrubs protected from the busy road, main body of the bar itself is in a neighbouring basement. Decked out in a mixture of red-brick and grey. Besides that, the interior is pretty rustic with wooden furniture, just like a beer house should be. They have a selection of 150 beers and a list of beer snacks that runs from garlic bread to smoked pork hock.

Tolkien´s house is a great little spot, tucked in behind a quiet park above Tkalčićeva street which can get quite crowded and stuffy in the evening. They have good service and a great selection of beers from all around Europe (Croatia, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, England, Netherlands…).
