1. White Night

White Night

At 18 locations across the city, for the second time Zagreb will welcome White Night – a culture event with light and sound installations, interactive exhibitions and concerts all over the city centre. Recommendation: light and sound interventions at Art Park, Grič Tunnel, Zrinjevac Park and Gradec Plateau, concerts at Croatian National Theatre Open Square Day.

2. Vintage Zagreb Festival


A retro festival located at the northeast corner of Ban Jelačić Square is celebrating the culture from the mid-20th century. It presents a series of artists who cherish the vintage culture like local retro bands, Croatian designers and old school barbers. You can participate in dance workshops, buy vinyl records, attend hairdressing courses or participate in a hula hoop contest and try sugar cotton wool.

3. Restaurant Week


Twice a year (in March and October), you have a great chance to dine at fine restaurants and choose between two or three specially priced menus. During the Restaurant Week in around 50 selected restaurants in Zagreb a three course lunch/dinner (+ a glass of wine in some restaurants) is only 100kn (13 €). 4. Zagreb Kom 11


The 11th Zagreb International Chamber Music Festival will be presented in the most beautiful Zagreb halls with six thematically conceived concerts, all of them performed by diverse ensembles and covering music from baroque to contemporary authors. The audiance will be able to hear some of the world’s most prominent musicians performing Bach, Brahms, Mozart, Paganini…

5. Zagreb Marathon


25th jubilee Zagreb Marathon with one of the fastest and flattest marathon tracks in the world will start and finish at Zagreb’s main square. This race is awarded with a 5 star certificate, meaning that it ensures a high level of protection, safety, high quality services and a significant number of runners. For those who are not ready for 42,195 km there is a half marathon and a citizens race (5 km).

6. Czech Film Week


One of the most popular film programmes at the Cinema Europa – Czech Film Week is featuring carefully chosen contemporary Czech hit movies. Six films produced last year will be shown at the 23rd festival at Cinema Europa including main attraction of the programme – the Czech candidate for this year Oscar award, movie Home Care (Domaci Pece).

7. Zagreb AV Show


Zagreb Audio Video Show is the leading AV exhibition in this part of Europe where lovers of sight, sound and tech can enjoy the latest offerings of the electronics industry. The 22nd AV exhibition is held in the halls and rooms of the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel where the leading audio/video distributors and manufacturers display their latest and most interesting products.

8. One Take Film Festival


The eight edition of the International festival of films shot in one take (films shot without interruption from the moment of turning the camera on to the moment of turning the camera off) is the only one of it’s kind in the world. It includes movies of almost every genre in official competition along with numerous other events like lectures, discussions, workshops, exhibitions…

9. Football Fest


On over 3500m2 of exhibition space with expected more then 50 000 visitors the first Football Fest in Zagreb is a „place to be“ for all football buffs and sport industry companies. Plus a big Fun Zone with futsal and Playstation tournament, VR, table, billard and bubble football, Cageball, penalty shooting, electronic dribling, freestyle competition, exhibition of football caricatures and more…

10. Bestiarum#5


The largest fetish party in this part of Europe is an all-night event for adult audience with international DJs, body art performers, a dungeon playground, xxx cinema and lots of surprises. The old factory Jedinstvo (1 500 capacity venue) with more than 1 000 square meters will be filled out with people in enforced „no streetwear dress code“. Photography is prohibited!
