One of the most attractive sights in Rijeka is the Medieval fortress on the hill Trsat. For a real local experience you can take local orange bus to reach the hill of Trsat or climb over more than 500 stairs. Fortress and the Vintage bar in it is definitely the place with the best city view. Very close is a Tavern Papalina, a perfect place for seafood lovers.
