1. Pile Gate (Vrata od Pila)
Step through the magnificent Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town. Admire the stone bridge and the mighty Lovrijenac Fortress across the bay. Here, you’ll often find costumed guards, especially in the mornings, welcoming visitors to this UNESCO-protected city.
2. Onofrio’s Large Fountain
Just inside the city walls, this 15th-century fountain once supplied Dubrovnik with fresh water. Its domed shape and unique spouts make it a favorite meeting spot and a great place to take a break.
3. Stradun (Placa)
Stroll down Stradun, the city’s main promenade. Lined with baroque buildings, shops, and cafés, this lively street is the heart of Dubrovnik’s social life. Notice the smooth limestone pavement, polished by centuries of footsteps.
4. Rector’s Palace (Knežev dvor)
Visit the Gothic-Renaissance palace where Dubrovnik’s elected rulers once lived. The palace now houses a museum with period furniture, paintings, and artifacts, offering a glimpse into the city’s aristocratic past.
5. Sponza Palace

6. Church of St. Blaise (Crkva sv. Vlaha)
Dedicated to the city’s patron saint, this baroque church features a stunning altar and relics of St. Blaise. Its location at the eastern end of Stradun makes it a perfect spot for photos and quiet reflection.
7. Ploče Gate (Vrata od Ploča)
Pass through Ploče Gate, the eastern entrance to the Old Town, and admire the nearby Revelin Fortress. This area offers beautiful views of the harbor and is less crowded than Pile Gate.
8. Banje Beach
