KINEMATOGRAFI DUBROVNIK is a public institution in the culture of the City of Dubrovnik that permanently performs the basic activity of development and presentation of media culture. In addition to showing films, a large number of educational programs, workshops, reviews and festivals, they are continuously working on expanding their offer to all other cultural and artistic programs and events. The institution manages two indoor spaces (Luža/Kino Sloboda and Visia) and two summer stages (Slavica and Jadran).

The summer cinema

The Slavica summer cinema is located in a historic garden at the address Branitelja Dubrovnika 42, on Boninovo, and has been one of the favorite gathering places of all generations for decades. Here are held special shows, festival programs and concerts for young people, along with movies. A perfect spot for summer nights. Jadran summer cinema is a unique summer stage within the city walls. This ambient space is open from the beginning of June to the end of September, i.e. during the summer season, and can accommodate up to 300 spectators. It is located at the address Za Rokom 7 in Old Town. Summer cinema Lapad in the pleasant surroundings of the green garden is located at the address of Eugena Kumičića 2 in Lapad.

A perfect summer evening

All cinemas are equipped with a digital projector, and films are shown in the original language with Croatian subtitles. You can get all the info during the summer months at the KIC located in Luža under the bell tower on Stradun, the main street in the Old Town of Dubrovnik. You can check the whole schedule here.
